Does it renew by itself?
Section 7 of the terms, “Subscriptions, Crystals, and Payment”, says a subscription does not renew automatically without the consent you give at checkout. In practice: if the auto-renewing option was selected when you paid, the charges continue until you switch it off.
Section 8, “Refunds”: a refund is possible only in three listed cases and only within 7 days of the purchase. Unused crystals are forfeited when an account is closed.
How to switch it off
- Sign in (Google, X.com, Yandex, Mail.ru or e-mail) and open the subscription section of your profile settings. The cancellation screen is not shown on the public pages, so we did not verify it.
- Turn off the renewal and check that the status changed. While the subscription is paid for, unlimited messages and crystals normally stay — not verified.
- If there is no such section or cancelling fails, write to service@aimy.chat from the account's e-mail. Include the purchase date: the refund window is 7 days.
What happens to crystals
Crystal packs are one-off purchases, not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel — but the terms state they are forfeited when the account is closed. Spend them before you leave.
The case for aimy.chat
No forced auto-renewal by default is a genuinely fair clause, and the service states it in writing.
The case for HoneyChat
HoneyChat has no crystals or second currency at all: prices in rubles from 430 ₽ a month, 20 messages and 3 images a day free, and every plan is visible before sign-up.
