What aimy.chat and HoneyChat offer
Adult content
Terms, section 2: “The Service contains explicit sexual content… We may request age verification at any time and immediately suspend the account.” The site: “Any scenario, any fantasy… no artificial blocks, warnings or lectures.” There are boundaries nonetheless — section 4: CSAM, real photos of people without written consent, deepfakes and hate speech are prohibited. These are normal boundaries; “no rules” is simply marketing.
Privacy
- The site: “No moderators reading your chats, no selling of data.”
- The terms: characters that break the rules “may be removed without notice” — so some content checking exists.
- FAQ: images “are not stored longer than necessary”; the terms: with a subscription the gallery is kept.
- An account is mandatory — the history is tied to an e-mail or a social login.
Your rights to content
Section 5 of the terms describes the licence to created content; infringing characters are removed. Read it before uploading your own photos.
Against HoneyChat
The case for aimy.chat
The rules are written in detail and sensibly: the ban on deepfakes and other people's photos is what a service with image upload should have.
The case for HoneyChat
No account — no e-mail in a database. Explicitness is regulated with five levels rather than a “no rules” promise; nobody will request an age check “at any time” because there is no account.
